Boughton Monchelsea Morris Dancers
We are a Morris music & dance Side who enjoy what we do & have a great deal of fun & laughter. We perform out at various sites with different guests everyThursday evening & some weekends during the Spring & Summer months; and spend every Thursday evening throughout the Autumn & Winter months practising for an hour in St.Andrew’s Church Hall, Tonbridge Road, Barming, Maidstone, ME16 9AN. We dance out within the Maidstone area on Thursdays & venture slightly further afield on the occasional weekend.
We dance as a mixed Side of men & women dancing together & welcome everyone to join us. No experience is required, just be prepared to have fun. We do share a lot of laughter every week. Dancing is fun, it provides the benefits of exercise with a social life. Stretch both your body and mind plus gain new friends whilst feeling good and enjoying yourself. Come along to make new friends, bring a friend if you wish and share our laughter.
Existing members range in age from 10 to 80's are dancing weekly from 8pm to 9pm every Thursday evening (from September to April) at St Andrews Church hall, Tonbridge Road, Barming, Maidstone, ME16 9AN. with FREE parking in St Andrews road. There are no fees or subscriptions as we use any payment we receive from corporate events to cover our running costs.
Every Thursday evening whether in the Hall or dancing out starts at 8pm & is Morris night!
