     We are The Boughton Barn Dance Band  and are based around Maidstone.  We perform around Kent for your fun & enjoyment and  would be pleased to play for your Barn Dance.  We have played together for many years but 12 years ago decided to form a Barn Dance Band.

     Barn dances are a great way to have a memorable and fun event you and your guests can talk about for years to come - an event for the young and old alike, for the fit and not so fit.   In addition the progressional nature of many dances makes them a wonderful way to mix people together. 

     We aim to provide a full evening’s entertainment, playing tunes for dancing and music to listen to between. We play a range of traditional English dance tunes. Our aim will be get as many people as possible up & dancing, and will vary the types, speed and tempo of the dances to provide as much variety as possible. So for those taking a rest between dances or unable to dance they will be entertained by the sight of their friends dancing or just enjoy the foot taping music.

     We are able to perform our Barn Dances for any celebration you may wish -  Birthday parties, Wedding evenings, Anniversary celebrations, College ball,   Office party,  Conference bash,   School PTA,    Events,  Fund raising for clubs or charities or wherever dancing for all ages or abilities is required.

      Our fees are from £250 with everything included (see next paragraph).

     In return we  provide a real live band (not recorded music,)  the necessary PA system and the (also necessary) our Caller;   all of us are long experienced,  guaranteed to entertain dancers and spectators alike,  from completly novice dancers to those who have stripped the willow before. 

     How good are we?  We are proud to be able to announce 100% success rate!   So far,  for every performance we have achieved  highly satisfied comments view (see some of our reviews below).

     What guarantees do we offer?  That we will do what you have hired us for,  by turning up on time,  performing as requested.   Our objective is for you to be delighted with the performance & everyone to have a good time.

     Flexibility.   We will discuss your individual requirements before accepting the contract,     but on the night we know that things can change,  so we will adapt to cater for any changes to the circumstances.
